AT&T LG G2 getting a minor update

The LG G2 from AT&T is now receiving a very minor stability related update. Unfortunately, this doesn’t change the Android version so you’ll still find Android 4.3 running the show. Speaking more about this update, it’s only 15MB in size so there are only a few bug fixes on board and nothing substantial. However, LG claims that this update will aid future software updates and will carry a few Google specific updates on board as well. The update can be activated now from the Settings menu on your AT&T branded LG G2, so make sure you keep checking unless the notification has already popped.

The LG G2 is one of the company’s most popular smartphones for a variety of reasons. While the software on board isn’t exactly the most liked, the hardware has been widely acclaimed. LG has claimed that global customers will receive the KitKat update on their G2 by the end of March, so the carrier variants might have to wait until April or May.
