ZTE To Bring Several Tech Devices To CES 2014

All roads lead to CES 2014 for most of the major tech companies in the world today. Chinese company ZTE is one of the many companies that will bring in and debut products during this 4 day event. The company is set to unveil several high performance smartphones and other consumer electronic products that will meet the demands of the modern consumer.

Mr. Zeng Xuezhong, ZTE EVP and Head of the Mobile Devices Division, said that “ZTE has been developing a portfolio of fantastic consumer electronics on top of the smartphones for which we’ve become well known. This year, we will be focusing on pairing unique designs with unparalleled technology in order to offer customers the best possible experience at an affordable price.”


ZTE will be bringing its second generation flagship device called the Grand S II. This Android smartphone has the distinction of being ZTE’s first high-precision voice phone that uses voice recognition to unlock. It also uses voice-to-phone photography. The device also makes use of a triple-MIC noise reduction for clearer voice calls.

The company is also going to bring in the Nubia 5S and Nubia 5S mini which features fast Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processors and high end photography software.

ZTE is also bringing in the ZTE Sonata 4G which will be released in the United States through Aio Wireless. This device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and has 1 GB of RAM. Other specs include a 4-inch display, 5 MP camera, and 1780mAh battery.


ZTE will debut at CES 2014 its very first Iconic Phablet. This phablet has a multi-window functionality which lets users multitask between two apps in the same window at the same time. It also features a quad-core processor, wireless charging, and a 5.7-inch HD screen.


Smartwatches have risen in popularity in 2013 and this year ZTE wants a piece of the market by offering its first smartwatch called the BlueWatch. This device links with a smartphone using Bluetooth technology and will provide various notifications on a person’s wrist. This device also comes with a built-in pedometer records and analyzes data around the clock and is able to provide information such as body fat percentage.

Projector/Wi-Fi Hotspot

ZTE has developed a device that combines the features of a projector and a Wi-Fi hotspot. It’s called the Projector Hotspot and is used to stream and share visual or audio content. It can also let up to 8 clients connect to the Internet via a 4G network.

Wireless Home Base

ZTE has partnered with AT&T to bring the AT&T Wireless Home Base. This device allows customers to connect their home phone to the AT&T wireless network and enjoy unlimited local and long distance calls for just $20 a month.
