It was only yesterday that a leaked photo revealed that Best Buy would soon begin stocking the Verizon Moto G, and now the retailer has announced that it is already selling the device in its retail stores, and that people will be able to buy one as soon as stock arrives. As the leak suggested, the price tag is an amazingly low $99.99 off-contract, though you might have to use it on a prepaid plan for six months before you can move it to a post-paid (or contracted) account.
For $99.99, the Moto G offers class-leading specs, including a 4.5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB of storage, a 2070 mAh battery, and Android 4.4 KitKat (non-Verizon models come with 4.3 out of the box). It’s a fact that has been trumpeted to death already, but at $99.99, the Moto G is simply the best prepaid smartphone money can buy right now, so be sure to check with your nearest Best Buy store and grab one for yourself or for a friend or relative.
