Verizon bound Samsung Galaxy NotePRO gets Bluetooth SIG and FCC certification

Galaxy Note Pro 12.2The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO tablet has just made its way to the FCC and Bluetooth SIG with support for Verizon’s LTE bands. This pretty much confirms the tablet’s arrival through the largest carrier in United States and we expect other major carriers in the U.S. to follow suit. Samsung has started to take the tablet market very seriously as is evident from the new refreshed lineup of the Galaxy Tab series in the form of the three Galaxy TabPRO tablets and a high end Galaxy NotePRO tablet.

This will certainly give users a viable alternative to the Apple iPad which has dominated the tablet market on its own ever since its launch back in 2010. It has been close to four years now since the first iPad broke cover and things are much different. The emergence of budget tablets has caused quite a stir in the tablet industry and has even forced Apple to launch its own budget tablet.

The Galaxy NotePRO however will be targeted towards the high end market segment and with support for Verizon’s wide LTE coverage, we expect to see quite a few takers for the premier Samsung tablet. The S-Pen functionality will go a long way in wooing potential buyers as will the new Magazine UX shown off by Samsung.
