Samsung Galaxy S5 to have better one-hand functionality and a new music player

Galaxy S5 - One Hand Functionality

According to a new rumor, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with improved one handed functionality as well as a new and improved music player. With Samsung’s growing eagerness to stand out from the competition, these features will certainly give the smartphone a big boost. The improvement in one-hand functionality is much required as smartphones are growing in size every year and while it is good to have extra screen real estate, one handed usage can be quite a daunting task. So it will be very interesting to see what Samsung comes up with. The second feature is a more refined version of the stock music player. And by that we mean the ability to share them through social media platforms, which could well be a crowd favorite.

These features were recently patented by Samsung as noted by Korean patent filing database K.I.P.R.I.S. So it is safe to assume that we will see them on the upcoming Samsung flagship. Samsung is believed to be testing a couple of user interfaces for the new iteration of TouchWiz, so we might get to see a complete overhauled UI with the Galaxy S5. The smartphone is rumored to be announced in mid-March at an event in London, so we still have some waiting to do.
