Qualcomm Toq smartwatch now costs $299.99 after a $50 discount

Qualcomm ToqThe Qualcomm Toq smartwatch has just seen its first price reduction since it was launched last month. The smartwatch now costs just $299.99, which is what Samsung charges for the barely successful Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Users can now buy the Toq with the discounted pricing either through Qualcomm’s official page or via Amazon. This appears to be a CES special promotion and will last only until the 11th of January or until stocks last, so users will have to pay the standard $349.99 from next week onwards.

Unfortunately, the smartwatch is still only sold in Black with no White variant in sight. We’re guessing Qualcomm is having trouble with manufacturing the white variant, which explains the unexpected delay. We hope Qualcomm launches the White variant as soon as possible, so as to offer potential buyers a choice. The Qualcomm Toq is one of the better smartwatches available in the market today along with the Pebble, so you can’t go wrong with one of these.
