Logitech announces keyboard+case for the Galaxy NotePRO and the Galaxy TabPro

Logitech Pro Logitech has just announced a new case for the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and the Galaxy TabPRO tablets. The Logitech Pro case aims to improve productivity as it comes with a keyboard attached to it, which means you can use the tablet as a conventional notebook in landscape mode. Since the tablets are 12.2 inches in size, the case actually makes a lot of sense and we’re surprised Samsung doesn’t offer something like this on its own, given its experience in the notebook and netbook segment.

Logitech will launch this case in Europe, Asia as well as the U.S. next month when the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 and the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 start hitting markets. The case will cost $129.99, which is a bit on the expensive side but considering that it doubles as a case and a keyboard, we think the pricing is justified. The keyboard is pretty compact and the keys are well laid out which will boost typing speed substantially. Since the Galaxy NotePRO and the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 are being marketed as professional grade business tablets, the addition of a keyboard is very welcome.
