The Kyocera Hydro Plus is now available at Cricket for $139 without a contract. The device is Kyocera’s latest model in its Hydro series that is known for its waterproof protection. Under the Cricket network it will come pre-installed with Cricket’s Muve Music 4.0 which offers consumers easy access to millions of songs and the ability to store the songs directly on the device.
According to Matt Stoiber, senior vice president of devices for Cricket, “Our active customers will love that they can have all their favorite features on the affordable, waterproof Hydro Plus without having to change how they live their lives. Our new Muve Music 4.0 allows people to carry their favorite music with them while on the go, discovering and downloading new music right from their home screens.”

The device does not really have premium specs however its waterproof feature, access to Muve Music, and its low cost of only $139 without a contract make it an inexpensive choice.
This model has an IPx5 and IPx7 level of protection against liquids. It can withstand sprayed water and can be submerged under one meter of water for up to 30 minutes without getting damaged.
