LG G2 Mini could feature a quad core processor and Android 4.4: Rumor

LG G2 MiniA rumor earlier this month claimed that LG was working on a mini variant of the LG G2 called the G2 Mini. While we haven’t heard a lot about it since then, we have a new rumor popping up reminding us of its existence. This new rumor claims that the smartphone will sport a rather adventurous specs sheet. According to the said rumor, the G2 Mini could sport a quad core processor (possibly Snapdragon 400) on board as well as Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, which is quite decent for an LG smartphone as the manufacturer has been rather slow with update rollouts. The smartphone carries the model number D-410 and that’s just about all we know about the G2 Mini at the moment.

It is widely rumored that the handset could break cover during the CES event in early January or maybe during the MWC in February. Either way, it’s clear that LG wants to break into the mini segment which was originally kicked off by Samsung last year with the Galaxy S III Mini. and later followed up by HTC, Sony and even Motorola.
