HTC unveils Black HTC One Max in Hong Kong

HTC One MaxThe HTC One Max was launched amidst lot of hype and expectations from HTC fans. Although they weren’t disappointed with the phablet after its launch, they weren’t too excited either. Maybe it was the fingerprint scanner on the back or the weaker CPU on board, but it just didn’t make a splash in the smartphone industry. HTC has now unveiled a new color variant of the smartphone in Hong Kong, in an effort to make it a more attractive option to potential buyers. Previously available only in Silver, the One Max phablet can now be bought in Black as well.

It is being rumored that HTC will also launch a new Red variant of the smartphone soon, although details on this are pretty scarce at the moment. HTC will also launch this new color variant in its homeland Taiwan soon. Although there’s no word of a launch in other markets or the U.S. in particular, we can expect HTC to gradually bring these color variants to more regions in the coming weeks. Maybe we can expect HTC to unveil a Gold version of the One Max as well, like it did with the HTC One.
