Vivo Xplay 3S Rumored To Cost $600, Features An F/1.8 Aperture

Chinese smartphone manufacturer BBK is set to release their upcoming flagship model called the Vivo Xplay 3S. While there is still no complete information regarding this device a few details have already been released by several sources in China. Why is there a lot of excitement revolving around this device?  The reason is that it’s going to be world’s first smartphone known to have a Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) display which Vivo calls a “2K” display.

The latest rumor is with regards to the price of the device. Reports say that it’s going to cost $600 once it is released at the end of the year. It’s also going to use a 3000mAh battery and have a F1.8 aperture camera.

The Vivo Xplay 3S was announced by the company last October as their new flagship device and a successor to the original Vivo Xplay. The device is said to have many updates and features with details on its hardware not yet revealed. The company however is confident that once the device is released in the market it is going to be the king of all phones.

Let’s roundup some of the specs that the Vivo Xplay 3S will have

  • 4G LTE
  • 5.7 inch Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) 2K display 538 ppi
  • Corning Gorilla Glass front and rear
  • 2.3Ghz processor (probably a Snapdragon 800)
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32/64GB memory
  • 13 mega-pixel rear rotating camera with F/1.8 aperture, Nikkion EXPEED image processing chip, Niko lens hardware
  • 5 mega-pixel front camera
  • USB 3.0
  • Advanced audio amplifiers for HiFi quality sound
  • Rear fingerprint scanner
  • 3000mAh battery

Since nothing official has been released yet it should be noted that the above mentioned specs should be taken with a grain of salt. If the company claims that the Vivo Xplay 3S is going to be the king of phones then the specs listed is definitely going to surpass the flagship models of other manufacturers.

As far as pricing goes the $600 which nearly twice that of the Xiaomi Mi3 is not cheap at all. However if you consider its rumored specs that far surpasses that of any device of any major Android smartphone manufacturer it’s definitely worth it.
