Sprint and Best Buy team up to offer fully unlimited plans to students in the U.S.

Best Buy and Sprint have kicked off a new promotion made specifically for students in the U.S. According to this promotion, any student who purchases a Sprint smartphone on My Way or Unlimited plans from Best Buy will get 12 months of free texts, calls and 1GB of data to spend. Post the 1GB usage, each MB spent will be charged 1.5 cents. But to evade this, users can get a fully unlimited data pack for $10 a month.

Besides this, the two giants are also rewarding students who refer this service to other students by providing another 12 months of free texts, calls and 1GB of data. This is applicable for every referral line added using Sprint’s My Way, My All-in or Unlimited plans.

This student promotion is available until the 14th of January.  There doesn’t appear to be an age cut off for eligibility of this promotion, so students of all ages can reap benefits of this promotion given their institution has proper accreditation.
