Specs and pricing of the Moto G confirmed with a new leak

Moto G

As we get nearer to the official unveiling of the Moto G smartphone, the frequency of the leaks are increasing in number. And just a day before its launch, we have a few retailers giving out complete details of the handset including the specs sheet as well as images. Earlier yesterday we saw Amazon UK listing the device with a November 14 arrival date, and other retailers have followed suit today before eventually taking the listings down as expected. British retailer Tesco has listed the device for £149 ($236) which confirms what we already knew about the handset.

The full specs sheet accessed from one of these leaks confirms the 4.5 inch 720p display, a quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 chip, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 5MP rear camera, a 1,950 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat which is very surprising, but we’re not complaining. The smartphone will certainly appeal to the midrange market with the kind of hardware Motorola has packed and we expect a wide global release to commence in days to come.
