Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 announced with a bigger HD display, quad core processor and more

Galaxy Grand 2

Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone through its official blog, Samsung Tomorrow. Featuring a superior specs sheet compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Grand 2 is certainly a more than a worthy upgrade.

The Galaxy Grand 2 packs a 5.25 inch 720p display, an 8MP AF camera, a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a 2,600 mAh battery. The smartphone will feature dual-SIM connectivity as well, much like its predecessor. The Galaxy Grand 2 packs most of the software features we see on Samsung flagships like Multi Window, Sound and Shot, S-Translator etc which is quite a neat addition. The smartphone will be sold in White, Black and Pink colors with no information on pricing and availability yet. The addition of Android 4.3 should mean that the smartphone is compatible with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch right out of the box.
