Nexus 5 Now Available From Canadian Carriers

If you didn’t want to get a Nexus 5 in Canada from Google Play, you were out of luck. Now that changes today. All six major Canadian carriers now will sell you the Nexus 5. That includes TELUS, Videotron, Rogers, Fido, Bell and Virgin. SaskTel and WIND Mobile are also on this list of carriers.

All these carriers will sell you the Nexus 5 for C$500, which is obviously more than the price on Google Play. But each carrier has a different on-contract pricing scheme:

  • Bell: $99.95 on a 2-year contract
  • Fido: $200 on a 2-year contract
  • Koodo Mobile: $500 outright or various amounts on the Tab
  • Rogers: $99.99 on a 2-year contract
  • SaskTel: Price not yet available online
  • TELUS: $99 on a 2-year contract
  • Videotron: $49.95 on a 2-year contract
  • Virgin: $99.99 on a 2-year contract
  • WIND Mobile: Not yet available online

That’s good news for those of you that do not want to order your device through Google Play and pay for shipping. So if you want a Nexus 5, you can now order it from your carrier either on-contract or off-contract.
