Motorola has announced the Android 4.4 update plans for three of its 2013 smartphones such as the DROID RAZR HD, DROID RAZR MAXX HD and the DROID Razr M, shortly after the company announced the update for the Verizon variant of the Moto X. We’re sure Motorola’s association with Google has a lot to do with the fresh batch of update rollouts, much to the surprise of the customers.
Although this is quite good news, Motorola is yet to give out a specific timeframe for the rollout of the update. So users might have to do a lot of waiting, maybe until the beginning of 2014 to get a whiff of Android 4.4. But that doesn’t change the fact that these long forgotten smartphones are getting the update, which should bring enough joy among the customers. The Motorola website claims that the AT&T Atrix HD which was launched last year will be getting the update as well, so it’s good news all around.
