HTC One gets an official Gold paintjob, launching in Europe soon

HTC One Gold

HTC has finally unveiled the Gold HTC One today. While this is not the first time we’re seeing a golden HTC One, it is the first time HTC is launching one itself. This variant is not made from solid gold like those limited edition variants and is made from the same materials as the standard HTC One, but with a golden paintjob, meaning the smartphone won’t have an extravagant price tag. There’s no information on pricing or availability as of yet, but the smartphone will be sold all across Europe in due time.

As for the specs, the Gold HTC One features a 4.7 inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 600 quad core chip, a 4MP Ultrapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.5 and a 2,300 mAh battery. We’re hoping HTC mass produces this new variant as the silver, black and blue variants are getting pretty stale already. The addition of a new color variant should certainly spice things up for HTC and we hope it is launched globally.
