The HTC M8 is more than likely the next HTC flagship, or in other words, the successor of the HTC One. There’s very little we know about the smartphone at the time being, but thanks to Evleaks, we now have more information on the hardware of the smartphone. Nothing is confirmed of course, so take it with a pinch of salt. Going by what Evleaks is saying, it seems like the HTC M8 is well on par with the current crop of flagships as far as display resolution and chipset is concerned. The only difference however is that this would apparently come with Android 4.4 KitKat. In addition to running the latest iteration of Android, the M8 will also feature the latest Sense UI dubbed as Sense 6.0, according to Evleaks. The smartphone will also apparently come with a fingerprint scanner much like the HTC One Max, so we know exactly what to expect.
M8 is an early name for the smartphone, so the handset probably won’t launch under the same moniker. If we recall correctly, the HTC One was initially known as the HTC M7, so its only fair that the successor is called the M8.
