The Verizon LG G2 is now selling at an all time low price of $0.01 through Amazon. This deal is applicable for new buyers while upgrading customers will have to shell out $99.99 for the smartphone, which isn’t all bad considering it is one of the best smartphones available out there. This deal kicked off this weekend and was first spotted by the folks at Android Police. With the LG Nexus 5 launching later this week, it’s clear that not a lot of customers might be interested in the G2 as the two smartphones feature an almost identical specs sheet. Amazon is offering the Verizon LG G2 off contract for $649.99. The AT&T variants of the LG G2 are available for $99.99 and $629.99 (off contract).
So it’s evident that LG wants to move as many units of the LG G2 as possible before the Nexus 5 breaks cover later this week. The Sprint variant of the smartphone is yet to be launched, and could have received a minor setback with the theft of 22,500 units of the handset en route one of its distribution centers.
