After more than a month of its announcement, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch have finally arrived on Verizon Wireless. Strangely, the carrier is one of the last to get the smartphones after AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint launched their variants more than a week ago. The Galaxy Note 3 will be priced at $299.99 with a two year contract and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will cost $299 as well but without a formal contract. If you’re looking to get the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 off contract, it will set you back by $699.99.
The smartphone will be sold in Jet Black and Classic White color variants. The Galaxy Gear will come in Jet Black, Mocha Grey, Oatmeal Beige, Wild Orange, Rose Gold and Lime Green color combinations. U.S. Cellular announced the availability of the two devices yesterday, so this was along expected lines. While the Galaxy Note 3 has received generally favorable reviews from reviewers, reviews of the Galaxy Gear smartwatch have been negative for being incompatible with most devices.
