Over the course of the last two days, we have seen the Sprint and AT&T variants of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini leak out on Twitter. And now it’s the Verizon variant which has leaked courtesy of Evleaks. The press image of the smartphone reveals the annoying branding on the home button similar to the Verizon Galaxy Note 2 from last year. While it’s imperative that a carrier wants to make its devices stand out from the rest of the crowd, it’s rather unfortunate that Verizon couldn’t spare the home button.
The back has plenty of branding as it is, with the standard Verizon 4G LTE logo well in place. Apart from this, we don’t expect the smartphone to be any different from other carrier variants. With the frequency of the Galaxy S4 Mini leaks increasing in the U.S., we get a sense that an announcement isn’t far away. The Galaxy S4 Mini packs a 4.3 inch 960×540 resolution display, an 8MP rear camera, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, a dual core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset, 8GB of storage (expandable), 1.5GB of RAM and a 1,900 mAh battery.
