A new leak has revealed the arrival of the Sony Xperia Z1 on T-Mobile in the U.S. This info comes from reliable source Evleaks which has always been a notch ahead of the competition in terms of leaks. There’s no access to specifics just yet, but we’re guessing the smartphone will be available within the coming weeks for a price close to $700 off contract and through the new zero down payment plans from the carrier. The smartphone should and will most certainly make its way to the U.S. before the holiday season kicks off, as that’s when people usually rush to get new devices for themselves or their loved ones.
The Xperia Z1 is known for its camera credentials as it packs a mammoth 20.7MP camera on the back. It also sports a 5 inch 1080p display, a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 chip, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot, a 3,000 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 with Sony’s custom skin on top. To add to its suite of features, it is IP58 certified for water and dust resistance, which makes it stand out from the rest of the flagships.
