Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids launching in the U.S. on November 10

Galaxy Tab 3 Kids

The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids tablet will soon be making its way to the American market according to a press release issued by Samsung. Customers can purchase this kids oriented tablet from November 10 for an estimated pricing of $229.99. Pre orders for the tablet will start from November 1 through online stores. The tablet is heavily skinned to meet the kids’ needs and comes with a lot of software tweaks compared to the standard Galaxy Tab 3. These apps are mostly educational with some fun interactive games as well. Samsung has decided to add a separate kids mode for the tablet which features certain restrictions along with parental controls. The tablet also has a standard mode which is the basic Samsung TouchWiz skin.

The tablet features a 7 inch 1024×600 resolution display, a 3.15MP camera on the back, a 1.2MP front camera, 8GB of internal storage, a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a 4,000 mAh battery. The tablet certainly won’t appeal to the power users out there, but it’s certainly a viable option if you have kids at home.
