Nexus 5 spotted running an older version of Android 4.4 on video

Nexus 5

With the LG Nexus 5 being the talk of the town currently along with Android 4.4 KitKat, leaks of any kind tend to excite fans. And today we have come across something major, in the form of a 7 minute YouTube video which starts by showing off the design elements of the Nexus 5 smartphone, followed by the UI of Android 4.4. However, this appears to be an early build of Android 4.4 as the phone settings shows the Key Lime Pie name instead of KitKat.

Some of the features which were spotted in last week’s Android 4.4 leak aren’t visible here, so this might not be the final version of Android 4.4. But the video does reveal a whole lot about the smartphone in itself as the dual speakers on the bottom were confirmed along with the overall design, which we knew a lot about as it is. There have been rumors that Android 4.4 and the Nexus 5 will be announced this week on the 15th of October, but the jury is still out on that. But if Google does in fact make the announcement this Tuesday, we’ll make sure you’re the first to know.
