The LG G Pad 8.3 is known to have an LTE variant but the specifics weren’t quite made public by LG. But it seems like the LTE variant of the tablet will start making its way to the markets soon according to a listing by Amazon Germany. The listing doesn’t give out details on the launch date as of yet but the pricing is set at €346.50 ($478), which is slightly on the higher side when compared to the LTE Nexus 7.
The listing has been up for quite a while now and has been spotted by the folks at GSM Arena, but it’s pretty useless really with no specific word on the launch date. However, the listing does confirm the existence of a separate LTE capable G Pad 8.3, which is very good news, especially for American customers. Perhaps LG could be looking to launch this variant during the holiday season which is a month away now.
The G Pad 8.3 sports an 8.3 inch 1920×1200 resolution display, a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 chipset, a 5MP camera on the back accompanied by a 1.3MP front facing camera, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and a 4,600 mAh battery. We can expect the LTE variant of the tablet to pack a beefier battery to accommodate for the extra battery drain.
