Google Play Store v4.4 leaks out with a new UI

Google Play Store 4.4

A new leak has revealed the upcoming Play Store for Android update, dubbed as version 4.4. This new update could make its way with the Android 4.4 early next month or slightly before that if reports are to be believed. As the screenshot indicates, this new iteration of the Play Store brings some changes to the app mostly in terms of the UI. It is said that Google will try to make it similar to the recently updated Gmail app which came with a cards like layout.

The update will also introduce the slide out navigation settings for the My Apps section or to Redeem gift cards within the Play Store. We can expect an apk to be leaked shortly before the official release of the update, which has been the case with most Play Store updates. It is very likely that Google will roll out the update prior to the launch of Android 4.4 KitKat as software compatibility isn’t an issue. We’ll keep you updated with all the information on the new 4.4 version of the Google Play Store.
