European HTC One getting Android 4.3 update in 3-5 weeks

A tweet sent out by HTC UK has confirmed the arrival of the Android 4.3 update for European HTC One smartphones in three to five weeks’ time. HTC UK gave out the information while replying to a user query. This is a tad surprising as HTC is already rolling out the update to carrier variants of the smartphone in the U.S. and Canada. But luckily for the European users, waiting 3-5 weeks will give them the Sense 5.5 user interface while most Android 4.3 updates for the HTC One come with the refreshed Sense 5.0 UI.

This update will also bring a new camera, gallery app along with a slightly revamped interface and user customizable quick tiles. The Android 4.3 ROM with Sense 5.5 for the HTC One smartphone has already leaked out in the internet, which can be flashed manually by impatient users. Because by the time HTC finishes the roll out of the Android 4.3 update for the European HTC One smartphones, Google will have announced the latest Android 4.4 update which could take another couple of months to make its way to OEM branded smartphones.
