AT&T launches 4G LTE in 11 new markets


AT&T is continuing on its merry way with its 4G LTE roadmap looking pretty solid. The carrier has just added coverage in 11 locations spanning across eight states. The carrier has also improved its 4G LTE coverage in Putnam and Greene County, Atlanta as well as Wright and Carver County in Minneapolis. Below are the locations getting AT&T’s 4G LTE for the first time:

  • Selma, Alabama
  • Brenham, Texas
  • Vero Beach, Florida
  • Cordele, Georgia
  • Dublin, Georgia
  • Brookhaven, Mississippi
  • Natches, Mississippi
  • Picayune, Mississippi
  • Port Angeles, Washington
  • Mt. Pleasant, Michigan
  • Lake Charles, Louisiana

AT&T recently added its 400th 4G LTE market in the country and has been sailing along since then with expansions happening on a weekly basis. The carrier will now focus on expanding its reach to more destinations across the U.S. and with newer smartphones making its way to the carrier’s shelves, we can expect the number of customers to steadily increase as well.
