We mentioned back in July that T-Mobile won’t be carrying the Moto X in its retail shelves and will depend on either the Google Play Store or Motorola to sell its offering. But now we have clarification coming through suggesting that Motorola will be the exclusive seller of the smartphone. So you won’t find the smartphone at a T-Mobile outlet in the U.S. and will have to look for a Motorola store instead. The smartphone will cost $599.99 which is about the same amount charged by other carriers for the off contract Moto X. Motorola is only selling the Black variant of the Moto X as of now with the white model slated to arrive soon.
The T-Mobile Moto X packs exactly the same hardware as other carrier variants but doesn’t come with the customization options offered by the AT&T variant. Inside the Moto X is a custom made X8 chipset, 2GB of RAM, a 10MP camera, 16GB of storage, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, a 4.7 inch 720p display and a 2,200 mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with support for T-Mobile’s LTE networks.
