T-Mobile has just announced the availability of two new Alcatel One Touch series smartphones known as the Fierce and Evolve. These are midrangers at best, so don’t expect any high end specs on board.
The smartphones will be available through T-Mobile’s standard down payment plans. Users will have to shell out $27.99 for the Evolve and $19.99 for the One Touch Fierce initially. Post this, users will have to make 24 monthly installments of $3 and $6 for the Evolve and Fierce respectively.
Diving into the hardware of the two smartphones, the One Touch Evolve packs a 4 inch 480×800 resolution display, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP camera on the back, a 1 GHz MediaTek chip, a 1,400 mAh battery, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot.
The Touch Fierce packs a bigger 4.5 inch 960×540 resolution display, a 5MP camera on the back, a 1.2 GHz quad core MediaTek chipset, 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 1GB of RAM, a 1,800 mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The One Touch Evolve will go up for pre-order on T-Mobile’s website on October 14 with launch commencing a couple of days later. The One Touch Fierce however will go up for sale on the 23rd of October.
