Sprint Moto X

Sprint will be launching the Moto X on its network today. The 16GB version will cost $199.99 with a two year contract. In an effort to lure in new customers, Sprint is offering $100 credit back for customers switching from other carriers. So effectively, new customers can get the Sprint Moto X for just $99.99. Sprint also revealed the availability of the Moto Maker customization site in the coming months, which is great news. So it seems like AT&T’s exclusivity won’t last long after all. The smartphone will be sold in the Woven Black and Woven White color variants for the time being.

If you need a refresher on the specs of the Moto X, the smartphone comes with a unique Motorola X8 chipset, a 10MP camera, a 4.7 inch 720p display, Android 4.2.2, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of storage options, a 2,200 mAh battery and a plethora of software features like Active Display and an always on voice recognition system which is listening to the user at all times. The smartphone can be bought from Sprint’s online shop as well as retail outlets around the country.
