The Sony Xperia Z1 Mini has been spotted yet again, but this time in a clearer picture posing next to the bigger Xperia Z1. The Z1 Mini was first spotted even before the Xperia Z1 was announced. And ever since Sony launched the Xperia Z1, rumors of the Z1 Mini have only increased in frequency. The smartphone is allegedly a smaller yet powerful substitute of the Xperia Z1 and will pack almost identical specifications apart from the size.
Rumors have indicated that the Z1 Mini will sport a 4.3 inch 720p display, a 20.7MP Sony G Lens camera, a quad core Snapdragon 800 chip and 2GB of RAM among other things. Reports have suggested that the smartphone will break cover in January next year at the CES convention, but that seems unlikely since we have already spotted the smartphone in all its glory. Sony is following in HTC’s footsteps which followed up the launch of the HTC One with the One Mini, hence giving users the option to have the HTC experience but in a smaller package.
