Sony has just launched a new version of the Xperia Tablet Z, especially catered for chefs and restaurateurs called the Kitchen Edition. The tablet is pretty much the same as a standard Xperia Tablet Z, but comes with a few add-ons to make cooking fun and convenient. The bundle includes a couple of neat recipes from Saveur Magazine and a wireless meat thermometer from iGrill. The Tablet Z is water resistant as well so you can keep it close to the sink without worrying too much. This neat bundle will set you back by about $650, which isn’t a bad deal for a 10.1 inch tablet.
The tablet also packs a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core chip, an 8.1MP camera on the back accompanied by a 2.2MP front camera, a Full HD 1080p resolution display, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 2GB of RAM and a 6,000 mAh battery. The Kitchen Edition Xperia Tablet Z also comes with a neat looking stand.
