Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 spotted on Bluetooth certification site

Galaxy Note 12.2

The rumored 12.2 inch Samsung tablet has made its way to the Bluetooth certification site under the model number SM-P901. And as this is a Bluetooth certification site, there’s no info available on the hardware of the tablet. But from past reports we have learnt that the device packs a high resolution 2560×1600 display with S Pen capabilities, a Snapdragon 800 or the Exynos 5 Octa chipset and the latest version of Android. The site has only revealed that the tablet will pack Bluetooth 4.0 LE.

We’re not too sure if this new tablet will see the light of the day anytime soon since Samsung only recently launched a 10.1 inch Note device at the recently concluded IFA event. But this 12.2 inch tablet could appeal to the Ultrabook and mini Notebook segment, given the screen size and the S Pen feature with the plethora of customization options it brings to the table. Let’s just hope this tablet launches soon as any tablet featuring an S Pen will be something to look forward to.
