A new exclusive Oppo N1 photo has surfaced online, thanks to GizChina. The image shows off the handset’s ultra-thin bezels and camera user interface. There is some text written in Chinese, which GizChina says talks about the camera’s ability to capture clear images even in low light, as well as minimize blurring and noise due to the less-than-optimal light conditions.
Oppo N1 specifications and features
Plenty of leaks and teasers regarding the Oppo N1 have arrived before this new promotional photo.
It had been revealed previously that the device will measure 5.9 inches diagonally, and will feature a 1080p IPS panel. Likewise, it will arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a microSD card slot for expansion. Other leaks point to a 3,500 mAh battery that will support fast charging. Supposedly, such battery will be fully-charged in as little as two hours.
One of the upcoming handset’s highlights is a rear touch panel that works with the 12 or 16 MP main camera. Last month, the touch panel became the subject of some controversy, when Oppo released what was believed to be a suggestive advertisement showing the back of a woman.
The same camera is expected to pack Xenon flash, and features that will allow it to compete with devices that boast of powerful cameras. For instance, it had been rumored that the device will be able to capture long exposure images. It will also be compatible with lens attachments that will provide the user with more control over images captured by the device.
Along with the controversial advertisement, teaser videos for the Oppo N1 have been posted, encouraging greater anticipation for the handset. A countdown of the days leading up to the unveiling of the device is now available at Oppo’s website.
Oppo N1 release and price
The Oppo N1 will be launched on the 23rd of this month. When it is finally released, the Oppo N1 will compete against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, Nokia Lumia 1020, Sony Xperia Z1, and the HTC One. Rumors suggest that it will be priced around $650.
