Nexus 5 Pictures Leaked Through The FCC

The back of the device

Since the Nexus 5 was accidentally shown off in Google’s official Kit Kat video last week, the tech world has been clamoring for information on the rumored device. Today, thanks to the FCC (the american government agency that oversees wireless devices) has leaked some pictures of the device, which were discovered by PhoneScoop.

Some pictures are blurry, but this is the best look we’ve had at the rumored device. The camera and flash look to be in the same place as the device in the video, but there’s an odd-looking opening towards the top of the phone. This obviously is not a retail version of the phone, so it’s probably just for the FCC.

The headphone jack looks like it’ll be on the top of the phone, with the volume rocker on the left and the power button on the right. Those spots look like good places for these inputs. There’s not much else we know about this device yet, but it might come out soon, seeing as it’s passing through the FCC.

Maybe next month’s rumored launch date of October will be true. This could also be the first device to ship with 4.4 KitKat, but we don’t any information on that either. Either way, this device looks to be really good if the leaked video and photos are true.
