LG G Pro Lite Dual leaks out, launching mid-October

LG G Pro Lite Dual

The LG Optimus G Pro is a solid device even in the midst of smartphones like the LG G2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Launched earlier this year at the MWC, the smartphone is a more than capable phablet with proper hardware to back up its credentials. And now it seems like LG is willing to take it up a notch with a new dual SIM variant called the LG G Pro Lite Dual leaking out. As the name indicates, this smartphone will feature support for Dual SIM and will feature an easy swap button right at the bottom along with the standard Android keys.

The smartphone is rumored to break cover in Russia next month for an estimated price of 12,990 Russian Rubles ($400). And in order to save up on manufacturing costs, LG will reportedly cut down on some of the key hardware components from the Optimus G Pro. The Snapdragon 600 chipset from the Optimus G Pro could be replaced by a cheaper MediaTek substitute. The rumor claims that the smartphone will retain the 5.5 inch IPS panel (probably not with the same resolution) and will also feature a 3,140 mAh battery with an 8MP camera on the back. It is yet to be seen if LG will launch this smartphone in markets other than Russia.
