The HTC One Max has leaked in a couple of images prominently revealing the rumored fingerprint scanner at the back. We can see the smartphone posing in between two units of the HTC One, revealing the size difference between the smartphones. The fingerprint sensor/scanner is reminiscent of the Apple iPhone 5s which broke cover recently, and might have similar functions. However, we won’t be surprised if the idea gets scrapped entirely in its final implementation. Earlier today, we saw the branding image of the One Max leaking on Twitter.
The smartphone is rumored to pack a 5.9 inch 1080p Super LCD 3 panel, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset, an Ultrapixel camera of unknown resolution, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.3 with the latest version of Sense 5. It will be very interesting to check out this rumored fingerprint scanner, if real. Apple’s implementation is fairly limited in its approach, in a way that only a limited number of native applications can make use of it. But with Android, we can expect almost any app take advantage of this nifty feature.
