Google offering QuickOffice app for free


Google has just made the QuickOffice app free for every Android and iOS user, bringing the ability to edit and create Word documents and Spreadsheets on the go. The QuickOffice app was previously free only to users of Google Apps for Business. Google acquired QuickOffice back last year which gave rise to speculation of future integration with Google Drive. The app can be accessed from both smartphones and tablets.

Along with the free app, Google is also offering users 10GB of free Google Drive storage for a period of two years if they sign in with the app by September 26. Android users will be prompted to sign in to the Google account of their choice and can then check all the existing documents being shared or edited on their Google Drive account. The integration is seamless with Google Drive, so you can edit documents that you left off from your desktop right within the app. Download the app for Android from the link below.
