Global roll out of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear begins today

Galaxy Note 3

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone will be going live in over 140 countries of the globe as promised by the company during its announcement earlier this month. All major countries of Asia, Europe and other continents will be seeing the smartphone reaching its local Samsung outlets, and we won’t be surprised if there are people lining up outside the stores. Samsung is also launching the Galaxy Gear companion smartwatch along with the smartphone, which is unlikely to create that much noise in the marketplace.

Customers in the U.S. however will have to wait until October to get their hands on the newest Samsung flagship. Sprint is launching the Note 3 on October 4, while AT&T and T-Mobile are launching it a couple of days early. Verizon apparently is waiting until October 10 for the smartphone’s arrival. So American customers only have to wait a couple of weeks till the Galaxy Note 3 craze begins. Pre-orders are already up from all carriers, so make sure you sign up to be among the first to get the Galaxy Note 3 or the Galaxy Gear smartwatch in the U.S.

  1. BS tease for an OS update for the Note 2 starts in 5, 4, 3, 2… WAIT! We did that after the S4 release. WTF, Sammy? You’re getting to be as bad about updates as Motorola.

Before, someone chimes in with ‘You should just buy a Nexus’ – Stop! My phone isn’t up for renewal, There are no good Nexus devices being sold with my carrier. I’m not changing carriers any time soon cuz of coverage in my area. That doesn’t mean I should expect my device to be nearly abandoned, especially considering how popular the Note 2 still is.
