Just when we felt like things couldn’t get better for Moto X users, a new test build of Android 4.3 has leaked in an alleged test device. This test build of Android 4.3 has now been posted over at the XDA Forums by a gracious user.
The build seems to be very unstable for the time being with slower performance compared to the Android 4.2.2 running Moto X. However, the camera app seems to have been improved somewhat. Users can flash this ROM along with all the required files onto their bootloader unlocked Moto X without much fuss. But considering it’s a test build and not the final release, it might not be wise to flash it just yet.
Going by this, it seems like there’s still some time left until we can confidently talk about an Android 4.3 update for the Moto X. But we’re sure the guys at Motorola are hard at work to bring the update as soon as possible.
