Clock app from CyanogenMod makes its way to the Play Store as Chronus

Chronus cLock App

The folks at CyanogenMod (now Cyanogen Inc) have posted the official clock app from the popular CyanogenMod custom firmware on the Google Play Store. The app is available as a free download for all and will run on devices running on Android 4.1 and up. It’s a pretty simple looking clock widget, which is the key reason behind its massive popularity. It can show the current weather, the date and the time of course. The app is called Chronus on the Play Store, although on CM it’s simply known as cLock.

As this comes from one of the biggest Android developer communities, you can tailor the widget to suit your liking. Colors can be changed as well as the background, so this isn’t your stock clock app. The widget is also compatible with tablets as you can see from the screenshot above. It’s good to see the CM team rolling out some of its core apps to the masses on the Play Store. Last week we saw the Focal camera app making its way to the Play Store. Head over to the link below to check out the app for yourself.
