We were all aware that NVIDIA is launching its own tablet, but now we have some proof and confirmation coming through from China. Meet the Tegra Note from NVIDIA, which is the same tablet as the one we’ve seen in leaks so far, but only with a different name this time. The tablet has all the features which were rumored earlier, which is not surprising. These leaked images provide clarity on every aspect of the tablet and we’re very impressed.
What’s noticeable from the front of the tablet is that it features dual stereo speakers like the HTC One. Other noticeable features include the presence of a stylus and a micro HDMI port sitting next to the power button, 3.5 mm headphone jack and the micro USB slot. The back has a familiar pattern and a 5MP camera without LED flash. The tablet also seems to have a camera on the front for video calls. One of the images reveals a case similar to the iPad Smart Cover, which might raise a few eyebrows during launch.
The display is rumored to be 7 inch 1280×736, while the chipset on board is undoubtedly the NVIDIA Tegra 4. There’s no word on storage variants as of yet but the tablet apparently has expandable storage thanks to the microSD card slot. We can expect the device to be announced during the IFA event later this week with pricing and availability details to follow.
