AT&T announces 4G LTE in its 400th market

AT&T has announced the arrival of its snappy 4G LTE network in three new locations and with that, its 400th market in the U.S. Users of Alexander City, Alabama; Concord, New Hampshire and Jamestown, New York are the beneficiaries of this new roll out. The carrier hasn’t stopped there though, as it has also expanded its coverage in 11 other locations, which is always good to see.

AT&T is easily the largest carrier of the country behind Verizon, and it now covers over 240 million residents of the United States. The carrier is growing each day and this new milestone is yet another feather in its cap. The carrier recently acquired the 700 MHz spectrum from Verizon Wireless worth over $1.2 Billion.

Below are the regions where AT&T expanded its 4G LTE coverage:

  • Fresno, San Francisco and Stockton, California

  • Nashville, Tennessee
  • Houston, Texas
  • Tacoma and Seattle Washington
