Angry Birds Star Wars II hits the Google Play Store for $0.99

Angry Birds Star Wars II

Rovio’s Angry Birds Star Wars II has officially made its way to the Google Play Store yesterday for a price of $0.99. The developers have been kind enough to publish a free version of the app as well, but it comes with ads. This newest Angry Birds installment is making its way simultaneously to Android, Windows Phone 8 and  iOS devices.

With this new app, Rovio is also introducing something known as Telepods which are toys that can come to life within the game when simply kept over the device. These will be sold separately and can be purchased now from various toy stores across the country.

Angry Birds Star Wars II brings an improved gameplay, newer characters and the ability to join the “pork side” as well. Download the app from the link below to treat yourself to some classic Star Wars action and take a trip down the memory lane. The app functions smoothly on tablets and smartphones of all shapes and sizes, so no issues there. It is being said that there are quite a few fake apps in the Play Store so make sure you look for the developer’s name (Rovio Mobile Ltd) before downloading.
