Amazon will launch Kindle Matchbook service in October

Kindle Matchbook

Amazon will be launching a new service known as Kindle Matchbook from October in an effort to save you some money on eBooks when you buy an actual printed book from Amazon. The best part about this new service is that regardless of when you bought the printed book from Amazon, the Kindle version will be sold at a discounted price. This should encourage users to get more printed books as a Kindle version is being bundled for a throwaway price. Prices for the Kindle versions of printed books under this promotion can be $2.99, $1.99, $0.99 or even free.

So make sure you have a Kindle app running on your smartphone and wait patiently until October. The downside of this promotion is that most new books won’t have a Kindle version during launch, so the users must wait a while till they get the Kindle version of a particular book. We feel the Kindle Matchbook feature should have existed for a long time now looking at the growing rate of Kindle purchases compared to physical books, but better late than never as they say.
