Information regarding the HTC Butterfly 2 smartphone leaked out earlier this Friday. And now a few front panels of the smartphone have allegedly leaked. The front panel only reveals the bottom bezel area along with the two standard HTC buttons on the sides with nothing in the middle. This component merges directly with the chassis of the smartphone, so we have a clearer picture of what to expect from the front portion of the new Butterfly 2.
The smartphone will not break cover until January according to reports, and it makes sense since the original HTC Butterfly hit global markets during the end of 2012. The successor to the Butterfly is slated to be water resistant, which will certainly be a noteworthy feature. It is also supposed to sport a 5.2 inch 1080p display along with a Snapdragon 800 quad core chip, so we’re guessing the supply chain issues have been sorted by HTC. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about the Butterfly 2 as the weeks pass.
