Two new LG tablets spotted on Bluetooth SIG

LG Tablet

According to one of the listings on Bluetooth SIG, LG could be working on two new tablets. These tablets which bear the model number V-500 and V-507L could well be the real deal. Rumors suggest that these two tablets could launch during the IFA event next month. As most of us are aware, LG’s history with tablets hasn’t been all that great. The last known tablet from the company was the Optimus Pad, which didn’t impress. This listing reveals that the tablets could sport the Snapdragon APQ8064 chipset a.k.a. the Snapdragon S4 Pro which is used on the new Nexus 7 and the Nexus 4.

It seems like LG will have a very busy year ahead with the launch of the G2 and these two tablets. Going by the model numbers of these tablets, it would be fair to assume that one of them would be an LTE variant while the other would be the regular Wi-Fi variant. It’s still early days though, so let’s wait till we have confirmation on these tablets. The tablet industry could certainly help with a new LG made tablet, considering the noise it’s making in the smartphone industry right now.
