T-Mobile won’t sell the Moto X in its retail stores

T-Mobile has just come out with a word claiming that the Moto X will not be stocked on the carrier’s retail shops. Instead, for the time being, Motorola stores will carry T-Mobile compatible Moto X smartphones in the U.S. The smartphone is going to be sold in the country on all four major carriers as well as U.S Cellular. Except for Verizon, all the other carriers have either made a formal announcement of its arrival or posted a listing on its website. T-Mobile claims that if there’s any info about stocking the smartphone in its retail shelves, it will happen at a later date.

Users certainly have a lot of carriers to choose from when buying the Moto X. But T-Mobile might have made things it a little hard for itself by choosing not to stock up on the smartphone early. But we’ll know how that pans out when the smartphone hits carriers early September.

The CMO of T-Mobile, Mr. Mike Sievert while speaking to AllThingsD said – “We do not plan to stock Moto X devices immediately in our stores but are working closely with Motorola to make the Moto X a great experience for T-Mobile customers. Any news about distribution in our stores would come at a later date.”
