Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids To Be Launched In South Korea

Samsung is determined to increase its already large market share by targeting kids, a demographic where it lacks a presence. The South Korean company will soon be releasing a kid-friendly tablet. The model is called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids which is actually a rebranded Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 with a couple of added extras like parental controls, child-friendly content, and a bunch of color options.

A brochure of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids was recently spotted showing photos of the device and its specs. Since it is designed for kids then it should be able to withstand the occasional bumps and rough usage.

This won’t   be the first kid-friendly tablet out in the market as there are also other such devices coming from different manufacturers. Despite coming in late for this particular demographic the company can leverage its expertise and technology to become the top kid-friendly tablet manufacturer in no time at all.

We are sure that this model is going to be released in South Korea however as to when is still anyone’s guess. The release date and price information is not revealed in the leaked brochure however it is widely believed that a September release date is imminent.

There’s also no information if this device will ever make its way outside of the South Korean market. If it becomes popular and there is a demand for it then it will definitely be making its way internationally. Samsung will just have to tweak some of its kid-friendly apps since right now it is using the Korean language.
